Yes, absolutely! We actually encourage it. When your phone arrives (1-2 weeks before your event), inside your box, you'll find a postcard with a QR code that takes you through a guided test setup. We strongly suggest completing this before your event so you're comfortable with how everything works on the big day.
How to test your phone
1. Press the power button on the bottom of the phone and release it. You'll see a blue light glow around the button.
2. Wait 30-60 seconds for the phone to fully turn on. You should see the LED on the back light up green.
3. Pick up the handset and confirm you hear the greeting prompt: "Hello, please leave a message after the tone."
4. Leave a short test voicemail if you'd like!
5. When you're done, hold the power button on the bottom for 5 seconds until the blue ring light turns off. Important: Wait at least 2 minutes after the last message is recorded before powering down the phone to ensure the voicemail is properly saved.

A note on background noise
Our phones are designed to pick up the caller's voice clearly. That said, for the best voicemail quality, we recommend placing the phone in an area that isn't directly next to the DJ booth or speakers. A cocktail table, welcome table, or entrance area tends to work best.
