Gifting an audio guestbook for someone else's event

Ordering an audio guestbook as a gift for someone else's wedding, birthday, or celebration? Here's what to know.

An audio guestbook makes an incredible gift, and we see it all the time: parents ordering for their child's wedding, friends surprising the bride-to-be, siblings coordinating for a milestone birthday. Here's how to make sure it all goes smoothly.

Ordering on behalf of someone else

When you place the order, you can use your own email and payment information. However, we recommend letting us know the details of who the phone is actually for so we can make sure:

1. The phone ships to the right address (yours or theirs, depending on whether it's a surprise).

2. The voicemails are delivered to the right person after the event.

3. Portal access goes to the honoree (not just the person who ordered).

How to set it up

After placing your order, email us at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number

  • The honoree's name and email (so we can give them portal access to their voicemails after the event)

  • The shipping address for where the phone should be mailed

  • Any special notes (e.g., "This is a surprise, please don't contact the couple directly")

We'll make sure everything is routed correctly so the gift recipient gets the full After The Tone experience.

Changing the email on the order

If you've already placed the order and need to add or change the email so the honoree receives their voicemails, check out our article on updating your order details.
